Supermarket Era, Good or Bad?
Friday, October 16, 2009 7:20 PM

*Just came back from Batam not too long ago
And this post was created before i went to Batam
but typed 1-2 sentences nia
so came back and continued*
I certainly feel that its bad more than good
From the news
many wet markets are going to be developed into supermarkets
those "big fishes" (NTUC, Sheng Shiong, Shop & Save, Prime) would take over them
this will take away the unique culture you could get in asia
how can you guarantee the freshness of the supplies
i bet you wont see how warming interaction can be in a wet markets than in supermarket
in supermarkets, nobody cares
you buy yours, he buy his
like that sibuay jiatlat la
wanna higher class
but also must preserve culture mah
all the ministers always say want preserve culture
even old tree also cannot cut down
then why these wet markets must make way for the supermarts
i dont see the reason why
SERIOUSLY~
what you all think?

YAY! 24 points... LOL~
Im free from the "teh-kor" plate
