i jus have a question in mind

this is how the question goes:

why does people have to watch a same film over and over again, when they knew what the ending is like and what is going to happen in the show? Even if they cried once, they are willing to play another the time and cry once more...

probably i just dont understand how some of the human mind works

can anyone explain to me

please help me uncover the mystery
